Job Specification:                       

As the Housekeeping and Laundry Assistant, you will be responsible for the day-to-day cleanliness of the home.  According to the internal arrangements you may also work in the laundry ensuring that residents clothes and linen are washed and ironed. To ensure that the home is kept clean, and laundry arrangements are at high standards you will work within a well-organised team of domestic and laundry assistants.

Build good relations with residents, their families, and the teams you work with.  You will have good knowledge of COSHH, Infection control and will follow Majesticare’s policies and procedures.  You will have a good understanding of communication and confidentiality and not share any private information with others. You will be fully supported with additional training and your own personal development necessary for the completion of your duties.  As a key member of the Majesticare family you will attend team meetings and other meetings as appropriate, you may be required to undertake additional duties as reasonable requested by the person in charge.
