The full job description
Not just a care role. A place where you’ll
quietly change a family’s world.
Live-in Carer (Female) – Bristol
1 week on / 1 week off rota | £800 per week
Imagine being the person who brings calm to
chaos, reassurance after seizures, and consistency to a young family who rely
on it more than most.
This isn’t a “job you clock into.”
It’s a role where your presence shapes someone’s safety, confidence, and
everyday life.
You’ll be supporting a remarkable lady living
with epilepsy — and in doing so, help create a steady, happy environment for
her two children to grow up in.
The impact you’ll have
- Being the calm, capable
presence during and after seizures
- Helping a mum stay
independent in her own home
- Creating a safe,
structured, and reassuring routine for the whole household
- Quietly becoming someone
the family trusts, relies on… and values
Why this role stands out
- A rota that gives you
real balance – one week fully immersed, one week fully yours
- Daily protected
downtime – because your wellbeing matters too
- £800 per week + up to
£100 travel allowance
- £500 “bring someone
brilliant with you” bonus
- Free DBS + full Care
Certificate training
- 24-hour support – you’re
never on your own
- A private, comfortable
living space during placements
What you’ll bring
- Experience supporting
epilepsy, including seizure recognition and aftercare
- Confidence (or
willingness to train) in rescue medication
- A calm, steady approach
in high-pressure moments
- Strong safeguarding
awareness, particularly in family environments
- The ability to balance
professionalism with warmth — being part of the home, not just in it
- Everyday practical
skills (cooking, housekeeping, supporting routines)
This is a genuine occupational requirement for a female carer, in
line with Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010.
If you’re reading this and thinking:
“That sounds like me — I could genuinely make a difference there…”
Don’t just move on.
👉 Be the reason this family sleeps easier at night.
👉 Be the steady
hand in the moments that matter most.
👉 Be remembered
for something that actually meant something.
