Deputy Care Manager
Location: Coppull, PR7
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced Deputy Care Manager to join a well-established care home based in Coppull (PR7). This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to take the next step in their leadership career within the care sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the care home
• Lead, supervise, and motivate care staff to deliver high-quality care
• Ensure compliance with CQC standards and regulatory requirements
• Manage staff rotas, performance, and ongoing development
• Promote a safe, caring, and person-centred environment for residents
• Assist in care planning and ensure best practices are followed
• Handle operational challenges and make informed decisions under pressure

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience within a care home setting in a senior, supervisory, or management role
• Strong experience supporting elderly residents, including those with dementia
• Background in residential or nursing home care is essential
• Must hold or be working towards a Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care (Leadership & Management)
• Good understanding of CQC standards and compliance
• Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
